A NIMBUS High Pressure water mist fire suppression system basically consists of a high pressure pump unit, a hose reel and a multipurpose high pressure lance. In addition a cutting lance for the purpose of penetrating suppressing fires in confined spaces can be supplied.
Our Nimbus System can easily become a bespoke item. Whether to mount it in a smaller, rapid intervention style vehicle, a mid range van style truck or a conventional fire truck is a decision for the customer. We don’t believe in barriers. Whatever our customer’s fire fighting needs, we seek to supply the best there is.
Nimbus Fire Fighting Solutions range come in 60L, 30L or 15L per minute flow rate, all can either be driven by their own engine or a power take off system. The 60 litre per minute runs at 300 bar and can provide both piercing and general purpose fire fighting. Here it is fitted to a frame which is completely self contained with fuel, water, foam, battery, silent diesel engine and 80m electric rewind hose reel. Built to fit into a trailer, van or be moved by fork lift or crane system it is a serious piece of fire fighting kit. The 30 litre per minute unit runs at 300 bar and can provide both piercing and general purpose fire fighting. This frame unit is designed to fit in a fire appliance locker, small rapid intervention vehicle or in fact, any vehicle. It has twin cylinder petrol engine (power take off an option) and requires a water tank but has a foam capability. Finally the 15 litre per minute unit which runs at 250 bar and can provide both piercing and general purpose fire fighting. Ideally suited for the smaller rapid intervention vehicle and wild land units such as the Polaris and Argocat. Again fitted with a petrol engine but with automatic rewind hose reel and capable of inducing foam. Pictured here on a Carmichael 6×6 Polaris with ‘U’ shaped 200L water tank but different shape and size of tank is available. Power take off is also an option.
